Meet the CEO
The journey of Favoured by Esther began ever since I was a little girl. My mom used to dress my twin sister and I in the most “fashionable” outfits you could think of: anything from a cute kaba and slit to Apple Bottom jeans. Each time, you can trust and believe that I felt like the next Tyra Banks. So that is where the seed was planted. Later on, I used to make sew small, kente bow ties by hand to sell and that was a hit. I wanted to explore sewing for sometime but I needed to focus on school. Instead of sewing, I used my time to watch fashion influencers like iDesign 8, Emmalyne Love, and many more. This is where I developed the love for fashion.
One day in 2019, I had a dream and it was vivid dream a store with name Favoured by Esther on it. There I saw someone congratulating me on the store itself and I held on to that dream until it became reality. Fast forward to today, here we are!
I want to create a space where modesty and style coexist seamlessly. As someone who has always valued self-expression through clothing while staying true to her faith and principles, I noticed a gap in the fashion industry for women seeking modest yet fashionable attire, especially for the tall women. Fueled by my desire to fill that gap, I set out to get pieces that inspire confidence and celebrate femininity.
Today, Favoured by Esther serves as a reminder that every woman is uniquely chosen, favored, and beautiful. Through timeless designs and a commitment to excellence, our mission is to help women dress with dignity, shine with confidence, and embrace their God-given purpose.
